The Times reports on new legislation that would go a long way to improving the situation here in NYC. The bills before the city council are "Introduction 871", which would "mandate access to bike parking in most office and retail buildings" and "Introduction 780" which would "require garages and parking lots to provide at least one bicycle parking space for every 10 car-parking spaces."
