Kim Turim is on the hunt for a Dutch bike here in NYC and found this importer of EuroBikes.
JollyBike of Arlington, Massachusetts imports a one speed, step-through bike with coaster brakes from the venerable Dutch manufacturer Gazelle. They then hand paint the coat guards with a custom design and sell them for around $700.
The owners of JollyBike, Tecla and Monet also sell panniers and bells. Here is some of the wonderful custom coat guard artwork.
