Community Supported Agriculture

Our household invests in an organic farm here on Long Island. And in return, we get a share of the crops. Here's Jennifer and I picking up the first batch - we rode over to the pick-up on our lovely Velorbis bikes.

Those strawberries are beautiful. Around here farmers tend to think bigger is better, but I've noticed the smaller one have better flavor. Enjoy your fresh fruits and veggies!

Enjoy and thanks for your support of the local farmer...pet peeve of mine. We try very hard to adhere to the 100 mile diet. We do quite well for the most part.

I really think this is going to be how we get our food in the not too distant future.
