Gregory, who is working in Poland and Norway at the moment, apparently reads the LA Times while he's in Europe (personally, I prefer to forget the US even exists when I leave).
He sends us this article about Obama's helmet decision. Obama seems to have worn a helmet while riding recently because of the role model issue, not because he personally wanted to. Thank for sending this Gregory, now stop reading the LA Times and go to one of these or these.
