that almost brought tears to my eyes. i just cannot imagine that ever happening here. my friend meredith and i are going to bike dublin (for my heritage), copenhagen (for hers), and amsterdam (for hank's) if i make it 365. i cannot wait to go ... [le sigh]
I have a good deal of Irish in me as well. My grandfather grew up in Brooklyn delivering kegs of beer to the Irish bars by horse cart...
And I moved to Brooklyn without knowing that. I suppose that sort of thing happens...
